Clarence Gilyard Jr., the son of Barbara and a U.S. Air Force officer named Clarence Gilyard Sr., was born on Christmas Eve in 1955 into a military family in Moses Lake, Washington. Gilyard, the second of six kids died yesterday aged 66.
